A benefit you can give every resident that costs your property nothing, creates no work for your office, and never puts your staff between a resident and their healthcare. Everything below is written, print-ready, and free to use — in English and Spanish.

What this is

Affordable Medical Access is a telehealth membership. For $15.95 a month, a household gets unlimited 24/7 access to board-certified providers and licensed counselors — covering up to eight people under one membership, in all 50 states.

It is not insurance. It covers the doctor, not the hospital. There are no surgeries, no imaging, no specialist referrals. What it does is put a licensed provider on a resident’s phone at 11pm on a Sunday, with no co-pay and no waiting room.

Residents enroll directly. Nothing is collected at your office.

Why this matters to your residents

A significant share of renters work hourly, seasonal, or self-employed jobs where health coverage either isn’t offered or isn’t affordable. When something goes wrong, the options are an urgent care bill they can’t absorb or waiting it out.

You see the downstream version of this. A resident falls behind after a medical bill. A single parent misses work for a clinic visit that took half a day. Someone lets a small thing become a big one because the first step cost too much.

None of that is your property’s responsibility. But being the place that told them a third option exists costs you nothing.

What we are not asking you to do

  • Not asking you to pay anything. There is no cost to the property, no minimum, no contract.
  • Not asking you to collect or handle money. Residents enroll and pay directly. Your office never touches a transaction.
  • Not asking your staff to explain or support it. Every question goes to us, not to your leasing office.
  • Not asking you to endorse it. Share it as information available to residents. You are passing along a resource, not recommending a medical product.
  • Not asking for your resident list. We do not want it and will not ask for it.

What’s in the resident kit

Everything is written and formatted. Pick whichever channels you already use and ignore the rest.

Half-page flyer Community board, mail room, leasing office counter

No form to fill in, no email address required. Download what you need and use it.

Offer it to every resident equally

One practical note. If you share this, share it with all residents through a channel everyone can access — the portal, the newsletter, the community board, or every move-in packet.

Anything that looks like selective distribution creates problems you do not need. A resource offered to everyone is straightforward. A resource offered to some residents and not others is not. Your management company likely has guidance on resident communications, and this should go through whatever that normal process is.

How I am involved, plainly

I receive a small referral fee — a few dollars a month — when a household enrolls. There is no recruiting, no downline, and nothing I gain from signing up other sellers. It is a referral arrangement, not a network.

I have been doing community outreach around low-cost healthcare access for years, and built these pages because a property with 200 units can tell more families in one newsletter than I can reach one conversation at a time.

You are welcome to use every piece of this kit without mentioning me at all. The point is that residents find out it exists.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost the property?

Nothing. There is no fee, no minimum, no contract, and no agreement to sign. You are sharing information.

Does our staff have to support it?

No. Every resident question goes to Affordable Medical Access directly. Your leasing office is never the help desk.

Do we have to collect payment or enrollment forms?

No. Residents enroll and pay on their own through a secure checkout. Your office is not involved in any transaction.

Is this insurance?

No. It is a telehealth membership benefit and does not qualify as Minimum Essential Coverage under the Affordable Care Act. It does not cover hospital stays, surgery, lab work, imaging, or specialist care.

How many people does one membership cover?

Up to eight household members, with unlimited visits and no per-visit fee for anyone covered.

Is it available in Spanish?

Yes. Providers are available in English and Spanish 24/7, and every piece of the kit is provided in both languages.

What if a resident has a complaint?

Send them to us. Contact details are on every piece of the kit, and nothing routes back through your office.
